Product strategy
A set of choices about whom to serve, what to solve, and how to learn.
Why it matters
Without an explicit strategy, roadmaps become collections of requests. A clear strategy gives product, design, and engineering a shared test for what to build, what to defer, and what evidence would change the plan.
Use it well
- Name the user and operational problem before proposing a feature.
- Make the trade-offs and non-goals visible.
- Define the next decision and the evidence needed to make it.
